St George’s Parish Church was consecrated in 1888. This fine Grade 1 listed building was built through the generosity of Charles Mitchell, from whom the church bought the land for the Green. We welcome you in Christ’s name to this parish church and invite you to enjoy the Green, find a quiet space, say a prayer, or explore the church. The church is open 9.45am-12.45pm, Monday-Friday, in addition to normal service times. You can find our normal service times on the Worship & Learning page.
