Once more we are proud to support underprivileged and refugee children through our annual school uniform collection. All donated goods will be distributed to Children North East and to Christchurch C of E Primary School in Shieldfield, which has received the majority of Jesmond’s asylum seekers into its already needy local intake. All donations of uniform can be put in the box by the north door. Cash donations are also very welcome – please put them through the Parish Office letterbox in an envelope marked ‘school uniform’.

We are also holding a community collection morning on Saturday 27th July, 10-11.30am, at the main door of the church. You can drive straight through past the main door.

What we need is new school clothing for 4-11 year olds:

  • Grey or black trousers for boys & girls
  • grey pinafore dresses
  • skirts
  • boys’ grey or black socks
  • girls’ white socks
  • white polo shirts
  • grey tights or black leggings
  • PE kit: white round-necked t-shirts, black shorts, navy sweatshirts or hoodies, navy joggers
